Afrigo Band Takes Khalifah Aganaga to Court Over Copyright Infringement.

Kampala, Uganda – The legendary Afrigo Band, led by executive director James Wasula, has announced plans to sue singer Khalifah Aganaga for copyright infringement. Wasula revealed that the band is finalizing legal documents accusing Aganaga of using their intellectual property without permission.

In a press conference, Wasula noted that if found guilty, Aganaga will face significant financial penalties for damages and losses incurred by the band. This move comes after a previous meeting where Aganaga allegedly displayed arrogance and mocked the band’s vehicles. Despite this encounter, Afrigo Band chose to remain silent until now as they prepare to take legal action.

The lawsuit highlights ongoing issues with copyright protection in Uganda’s music industry, where artists often face challenges in safeguarding their work against unauthorized use.
