Ugandan musician and National Unity Platform (NUP) member Mansur Semanda, popularly known as King Saha, has officially endorsed counsel Elias Nalukoola for the Kawempe North MP position, urging his political party to grant Nalukoola the ticket for the upcoming elections in March.

King Saha, who is a beloved figure in both Uganda’s music and political scenes, made the endorsement public during a live TikTok video, where he passionately voiced his support for Nalukoola. “I believe Nalukoola deserves this party ticket. Let us give him the card because he is aggressive and a well-rounded leader who can provide responsible leadership,” King Saha stated.
The musician’s endorsement is significant, as he is a trusted voice within the NUP party. His support for Nalukoola comes at a crucial time, as Nalukoola faces stiff competition for the NUP ticket. He is up against several other strong contenders, including Alex Luwemba, Umar Magala, and others. Despite this, King Saha expressed his confidence that Nalukoola is the best candidate for the position, describing him as a capable and determined leader.
As the March elections approach, the race for the Kawempe North MP position continues to intensify. King Saha’s endorsement may play a key role in influencing voters and securing support for Elias Nalukoola, who is vying for a chance to represent the people of Kawempe North in Parliament.
