Renowned Ugandan musician Alien Skin has successfully secured Lugogo Cricket Oval as the new venue for his much-anticipated concert, following an unexpected cancellation at Hotel Africana.
Originally set to take place at Hotel Africana, the concert faced a major setback when the venue abruptly withdrew its hosting agreement. This led to uncertainty among fans, but Alien Skin and his team acted swiftly to secure a larger venue.
The new venue, Lugogo Cricket Oval, has been officially booked, with event organizer Nobat Events confirming the change. In a video shared on TikTok, Nobat was defiant, stating:
“They can’t stop us, they can never and will never.”
To further prove their commitment, an official confirmation letter was shared, showing that the venue was booked with a Shs 15 million deposit fee.
With the new venue secured and just two weeks to go, Alien Skin and his team are now fully focused on final rehearsals and event preparations to ensure a successful show. Fans are urged to mark their calendars for February 21st, when the concert will now take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
