Promoter Nobart Plans to Sue Hotel Africana for Sh1 Billion Over Alien Skin’s Concert Cancellation.

The legal action comes after the cancellation of Alien Skin’s highly anticipated concert, which was initially scheduled to take place at the hotel.

Nobart, who has been working on organizing the event for several months, explained that he had invested heavily in advertising and promoting the concert. He had allocated a substantial amount of money to publish materials and run promotional campaigns to ensure the event’s success.

“I demand over one billion shillings from Hotel Africana. I spent a lot of money on advertising and other publications. I will sue them and seek compensation for the damages,” Nobart said in a statement.

According to Nobart, the cancellation of the event has caused significant financial loss, and he is now seeking legal recourse to recover the funds spent in preparation for the concert. He emphasized that the financial damages incurred due to the abrupt cancellation are substantial, and legal proceedings are necessary to address the matter.

“I will meet with my legal team after the concert to discuss how to proceed,” he added. The concert, which has generated considerable buzz, will now take place at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on the 21st of February.
