Kampala, Uganda – Ugandan singer Fik Gaza has confirmed that he is working on a highly anticipated collaboration with former rival Alien Skin. The track, titled Habibi, comes shortly after the two artists publicly reconciled, ending a bitter feud that lasted more than two years.
Fans of both musicians were ecstatic last week when news of their reunion surfaced on social media. The reconciliation was met with overwhelming support, and many fans immediately expressed their hope for a collaboration between the two. Fik Gaza wasted no time fulfilling this wish, announcing that the duo is currently in the studio working on Habibi.

The reconciliation and upcoming collaboration have generated significant buzz within Uganda’s music industry. For years, Fik Gaza and Alien Skin had exchanged harsh words in the media, and their public clashes had fueled divisions among their fan bases. The feud often played out online, where fans took sides, with some fueling the animosity between the two artists.
However, Fik Gaza has now shifted his focus to promoting unity and peace, encouraging his fans to embrace the collaboration rather than dwell on past conflicts. In a recent statement, he urged his followers to look up to him as an example, emphasizing the importance of focusing on music rather than spreading negativity.
“My fans should follow me. People rather spread videos about chaos than send the same promoting your song. They love spreading negativity but you will never see them pushing meaningful music,” he said.
Fik Gaza also reflected on the futility of their previous feuds, stating that, in the end, neither side benefited from the conflict. He pointed out that many fans enjoyed the drama but did not realize that it was ultimately counterproductive to their careers.
“The feud doesn’t take us anywhere. Even when we fight, no one wins,” Fik Gaza explained. “People want to see us clash for the sake of likes and to grow their accounts. There’s nothing to gain from that besides fake admiration.”
This new collaboration marks the beginning of a more peaceful and productive phase for Fik Gaza and Alien Skin, and fans are eager to hear the fruits of their joint effort in Habibi.
