Woman Accuses Lil Pazo of Failing to Pay Ushers at Enkudi Festival.

Kampala, Uganda – A woman identified as Romina has accused popular musician Lil Pazo of failing to pay her and other ushers for their services during the Enkudi Festival, which took place in August 2024. Romina claims that she and a group of ushers were hired by Lil Pazo to assist with the event but have yet to receive the agreed-upon compensation.

Romina explained that the initial agreement was for a payment of one million Ugandan shillings, which Lil Pazo reportedly promised to pay for their work. However, despite their long wait, Romina says the singer has been evasive and has ignored their attempts to follow up, including refusing to answer their phone calls.

While Romina clarified that she does not hold a personal grudge against Lil Pazo, she emphasized that the ushers earned their payment and are simply requesting what was promised to them. She further stated that she does not intend to pursue legal action due to the lack of a written contract, as the agreement was based on a verbal commitment, commonly referred to as a “gentleman’s agreement.”

This situation has sparked conversations on social media, with some questioning the ethics of verbal agreements in business dealings. Romina hopes to clear her name, as some friends have started to believe she absconded with the payment
