Known for her role on Young, Famous & African, Zari took to social media to remind women that Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love for both partners, not just an occasion for men to spoil their women.
“It’s a two-way thing,” Zari said, urging women to think beyond receiving gifts and flowers and instead consider what they can give their partners in return. “A lot of time we’re always thinking, ‘What is he gonna get me?’ but the question is, ‘What are you gonna get him?’”
