The self-proclaimed President of Fangone Forest made this assertion during a recent interview, where he highlighted his growing fanbase and the loyalty he commands among the youth. According to Alien Skin, his influence surpasses that of certain political movements in the country.

"I can’t quit music and take a step down—I need to move on to something bigger. Fangone is even larger than some political parties in Uganda. If there were no jealousy in this country, we would have our own Michael Jackson by now," he stated.

Alien Skin, who rose to fame through his unique music style and ghetto-like personality, has developed a cult-like following, particularly among Uganda’s urban youth and lower-income communities. His Fangone Forest movement has evolved beyond music, with many of his followers treating it as a lifestyle or ideology.

Adding to the speculation about his ambitions, Alien Skin signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mathias Mpuuga’s newly formed political party, the Democratic Alliance (DA), last year. This move raised questions about whether the musician is preparing for a potential shift into active politics.

Despite his growing success, Alien Skin believes jealousy and sabotage are the biggest barriers preventing Ugandan artists from achieving international dominance. He insists that without unnecessary rivalry, Uganda could have its own globally recognized superstar.

As his Fangone Forest movement continues to expand, many are watching to see whether Alien Skin will maintain his focus on music or make a surprise entry into the political arena.
