Renowned singer and songwriter Dokta Brain has spoken out about his first-ever imprisonment experience, shedding light on an incident that led to his brief stint behind bars.
In an interview with Galaxy TV, Dokta Brain revealed that his legal troubles stemmed from a financial dispute with a longtime friend. According to the musician, he had lent the individual a sum of money, but when attempts to recover it failed, he lost patience and decided to take matters into his own hands.

He stormed his friend’s home in frustration and confiscated some of his belongings as compensation. Unfortunately, this move backfired when his friend, allegedly in collaboration with his sister, reported him to the authorities, claiming he had stolen property.
As a result, Dokta Brain found himself arrested and taken to the Police, facing theft allegations. His troubles escalated when he was unable to raise Shs70,000, the alleged value of the confiscated items, leading to his detention.
This experience, he says, was a harsh but eye-opening lesson about the importance of legal approaches to financial disputes.
