Spice Diana Pauses Music Releases to Assess Industry Trends.

Kampala, Uganda – Renowned Ugandan singer Spice Diana has revealed the reason behind her recent music release slowdown, citing a strategic approach to understanding the 2025 music industry landscape before making major moves.

Despite successfully dropping a collaboration with King Saha titled Onsanze Ndaba on Valentine’s Day, Spice Diana acknowledges that she hasn’t fully resumed consistent music releases. Speaking in a recent interview, the Siri Regular hitmaker emphasized the importance of observing industry trends before making significant investments in her craft.

"I haven’t started musically yet this year because I have just finished a concert. I was giving myself some time to understand how the year will unfold and prepare for it," she stated.

This comes after her record-breaking concert at Serena Hotel in January, which set the tone for her 2025 success. The show drew thousands of fans, solidifying her place among Uganda’s top female musicians.

However, Spice Diana believes the industry is off to a slow start this year, citing factors such as shifting audience preferences, economic conditions, and the impact of international trends on local music consumption. She assured her fans that new music is on the way, promising to release well-thought-out projects that align with market demands.

With artists such as Sheebah, Vinka, and Azawi also taking measured approaches to releases this year, it appears that the Ugandan music industry is undergoing a period of strategic planning rather than an immediate flood of new music.
