Cassanova Abbey Appeals for Bobi Wine’s Support in Feeding 300 Street Children Weekly.

Kampala, Uganda – Singer-songwriter and guitarist Cassanova Abbey has made a heartfelt appeal to his former boss and singing partner, Bobi Wine, requesting support for his charity organization that feeds 300 street children every weekend in Kisenyi.

Cassanova, known for his song Sembela, revealed that he has been running a registered foundation aimed at uplifting and rehabilitating street children by providing them with food, counseling, and essential care.

"I registered a children’s foundation so I spend every Saturday with almost 300 children. We cook food and eat. I also invite counselors who come through and counsel them," Cassanova shared.

While Cassanova remains dedicated to the cause, he acknowledged that sustaining the initiative has become financially demanding. He appealed to Bobi Wine to extend food support in the form of posho, beans, rice, cooking oil, and other essential supplies to ensure the program continues smoothly.

"I need support, so if he (Bobi Wine) sends it in any form, I am okay with it. I really need food support such as beans, posho, cooking oil, and rice, among many other items," he said.

Cassanova Abbey, who has also been involved in mentoring young artists in live music performance and guitar playing, emphasized that his focus is not only on music but also on giving back to society.

Despite his current humanitarian efforts, Cassanova maintained that he still holds Bobi Wine in high regard and would be ready to work with him again if needed.

"At the moment, I don’t have anything to tell Bobi Wine, but when he needs me, I can’t hesitate. He is my boss," he said.

The singer remains hopeful that his former Fire Base Crew colleague will respond to his call for support, as he continues to provide hope and care to the vulnerable children of Kisenyi.
