Uncle Chumi Reveals Artists’ Disrespect Inspired Her to Start Singing.

Kampala, Uganda – Rising Ugandan artist Uncle Chumi, who recently broke into the music industry with her hit single “Gwokute Gwoba,” has revealed that she never initially planned to become a musician. However, she was forced into the industry after experiencing disrespect from artists she once looked up to.

In a recent interview with a local television station, Uncle Chumi spoke openly about how frustration with certain musicians motivated her to pursue a music career on her own terms.

“I was never thinking about joining the music industry. However, I was forced to do so because of the disrespect from artists. I got tired of begging them and chose to do it myself,” she explained.

Uncle Chumi admitted that she initially admired artists and wanted to work closely with them, but instead, she found herself constantly disappointed by their attitude. She eventually decided to stop seeking validation from the industry and instead create her own path.

Her decision paid off quickly, as her debut track “Gwokute Gwoba” became a fan favorite, gaining massive airplay on radio stations, social media platforms, and streaming services.

Now fully committed to music, Uncle Chumi promises to keep delivering for her fans. She firmly believes that music is her true calling and that she is destined for greatness.

“Music is now my path, and fans should expect great things from me,” she assured.
