Ugandan singer Veronica Luggya, popularly known as Vinka, has once again addressed her relationship with former Swangz Avenue label-mate Irene Ntale, dismissing long-standing speculation that their split was caused by misunderstandings.
Speaking in a recent interview, Vinka made it clear that she and Ntale did not have any bad blood, but their lack of communication is simply due to their busy schedules.

"It’s been a very long time since I got in contact with Irene Ntale. I am an artist now and very busy. Even the contacts changed, but when we bump into each other, we talk a little bit. The fact is we didn’t have any misunderstanding, and what stops us from communicating often is that we are both very busy."
Vinka and Irene Ntale were once closely associated under Swangz Avenue, with Vinka initially working as Ntale’s manager before launching her own music career. When Ntale left Swangz Avenue in 2017, rumors circulated that the two had fallen out, but both artists have continuously downplayed such reports.
Despite their professional separation, Vinka insists there is no animosity between them and that they remain cordial whenever they meet.
Additionally, Vinka weighed in on the topic of marriage in the entertainment industry, saying that it is challenging for artists to find true love because many suitors are attracted to their fame rather than their true selves.
"I don’t think artists don’t want marriage. The truth is, it takes time to find the right partner. When one becomes famous, it becomes difficult to know who truly loves you and who is just attracted to your brand."
Her remarks have sparked discussions among fans, with many agreeing that celebrities often struggle with relationships due to public scrutiny and insincere partners.
For now, Vinka remains focused on her music career, recently making waves with her hit song “Bailando”, which continues to dominate Ugandan airwaves.
