Kampala, Uganda – Ugandan rising singer Jowy Landa has made a bold claim regarding her musical abilities, stating that she is a better musician than Spice Diana. The young artist, who has been steadily gaining recognition in the industry, insists that while Spice Diana is talented, her own musical abilities surpass those of the established star.
In a recent interview, Jowy Landa did not hold back when discussing her musical journey and comparisons with some of Uganda’s biggest female artists. While acknowledging Spice Diana’s success, she believes that her own talent is on another level.
“Spice Diana is a very good person, but she possesses only a fraction of my talent. I believe I am one of the most talented musicians, and I can clearly prove that,” she stated.
Jowy Landa also added that if she had the same opportunities and platform as Spice Diana, she would have already won international awards.
Spice Diana has remained one of Uganda’s most consistent female artists, dropping hit songs and collaborating with both local and international stars. Over the years, she has received multiple awards and endorsements, solidifying her place as a household name.
However, Jowy Landa’s remarks highlight a common trend in the industry—rising artists often feel overlooked or underestimated despite their talent. Many young musicians aspire to reach Spice Diana’s level but struggle to break through due to limited exposure and resources.
