Kampala, Uganda – Violence within Uganda’s entertainment industry has been on the rise, with several high-profile incidents drawing public attention. Most recently, TikTok star Chicken Chicken accused singer Alien Skin’s gang of attacking him. This follows an earlier altercation between singers Pallaso and Alien Skin, which resulted in property damage and public outrage.
Rapper Feffe Bussi, in a recent media interview, addressed these ongoing conflicts, shedding light on why violence happens in the entertainment industry and how it can be avoided.

Feffe Bussi identified several key factors that contribute to violent confrontations among entertainers:
- Being in the Wrong Place at the Wrong Time – The rapper explained that many entertainers find themselves in violent situations simply because of their surroundings. Some events or locations may attract trouble, and an artist’s presence there increases their risk of being involved in conflicts.
- Saying the Wrong Things – According to Feffe Bussi, words hold power, and entertainers sometimes say things that provoke aggressive reactions. Be it in interviews, social media posts, or song lyrics, careless speech can escalate tensions within the industry.
- Getting Involved with the Wrong People – The rapper warned against associating with individuals who are known for engaging in violence. He noted that entertainers should be cautious about the company they keep, as negative influences can drag them into unnecessary fights.
Feffe Bussi also offered practical advice on how artists can avoid conflicts and ensure their safety:
- Stay Aware of Surroundings – Artists must be mindful of where they go and whom they interact with, as certain environments pose higher risks.
- Be Mindful of Speech – Feffe Bussi advised entertainers to think before they speak and avoid saying things that might trigger conflict.
- Respect Others – He emphasized that mutual respect goes a long way in maintaining peace within the entertainment industry.
- Know Your Limits – The rapper pointed out that entertainers should be aware of when to walk away from confrontations instead of engaging in fights.
- Remember That No One is Above the Law – No matter how famous an artist may be, the law applies to everyone. Engaging in violence could lead to legal consequences.
Feffe Bussi’s remarks serve as a crucial reminder that the entertainment industry, despite its glamorous appeal, is not immune to violence. His call for self-awareness and respect highlights the need for Ugandan artists to take responsibility for their actions and contribute to a safer, more professional industry.
