Kampala, Uganda – Popular Ugandan singer Karole Kasita has addressed the controversy surrounding her recent interaction snub with fellow musician Alien Skin at a high-profile event in Kampala.
The event, which brought together top celebrities including Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Fik Gaza, and Alien Skin, saw Karole Kasita personally exchanging pleasantries with Bugembe and Fik Gaza. However, she skipped greeting Alien Skin, which sparked speculation among fans.
In a recent interview with a local YouTuber, Karole Kasita clarified that the snub was not intentional and that she simply did not recognize Alien Skin at the time.
"Genuinely, I didn't intend to demean him. However, I couldn't recognize him physically, and there was no time to get to know everyone who attended the event."
Karole Kasita stated that despite Alien Skin’s popularity, she has never paid close attention to his physical appearance. She emphasized that the event was crowded, and her focus was divided, making it difficult to identify everyone at the table.
She reassured fans that she respects all Ugandan artists, including Alien Skin, and has no personal grudges against him.
