Ugandan singer Omega 256 has made an unexpected demand ahead of her upcoming maiden concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on May 2, 2025—she wants Ray G to perform at the event.
Despite their heated industry clashes, Omega 256 believes Ray G owes her a performance after she previously graced his concerts multiple times.

“I have performed at three shows of Ray G; he has a debt to pay, so he needs to come and perform at my show,” she stated.
Accusations of Sabotage
Her remarks follow explosive claims by event promoter Nobart, who accused Ray G of deliberately trying to derail Omega 256’s concert.
“Ray G is sabotaging Omega 256's concert. He is a snake, a hypocrite, but he keeps smiling with me,” Nobart revealed, sparking further controversy.
Ray G, who successfully headlined his own concert in Kampala in May 2024, has yet to confirm whether he will honor Omega 256’s request or ignore her invitation.
With Omega 256 stepping into the same venue where top Ugandan artists like Jose Chameleone, Sheebah Karungi, and Gravity Omutujju have held major concerts, the pressure is on her to pull off a historic event.

If Ray G does show up, it could be a huge moment for Western Ugandan music, proving that collaboration and unity can outshine rivalry. If he doesn’t, it could be seen as the ultimate confirmation of their long-standing tension.
May 2 is set to be an explosive night in Uganda’s music industry.
