Ugandan Afro-fusion sensation Joshua Baraka has addressed rumors about starting a family with his longtime girlfriend, Etania Mutoni, revealing that fatherhood is not on his mind right now.
The “Nana” and “Nayomi” hitmaker, who has been dating the vibrant media personality for about three years, acknowledged their strong bond but was firm in his decision to delay parenthood.

“Not at all. Not at all. I am far from that,” Baraka said when asked about having kids with Etania.
His reason? He believes children are a huge responsibility that should only be taken on when one is fully ready.
“I don’t think children define who you are. Children are a responsibility you should have when you’re ready,” he explained.
Despite their close relationship, Baraka and Etania do not yet live together, choosing instead to nurture their love while focusing on their individual careers.
In Uganda’s entertainment industry, several stars prioritize career growth over family life, with artists like Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, and Vinka all stating that parenthood is something they will only consider when fully prepared.
With Joshua Baraka’s music career skyrocketing, the singer remains focused on making global waves before considering fatherhood and settling down.
For now, his relationship with Etania continues to blossom, and fans remain intrigued by their lovey-dovey moments and undeniable chemistry.
