Kampala, Uganda – Controversial gossip pundit Kasuku has accused NBS Television of attempting to sabotage the widely watched entertainment show, “Talk and Talk,” which airs on YouTube and has gained significant traction among Kampala’s youthful audience. Kasuku, alongside co-hosts Jenkins Mukasa, Eddie Sendi, and Batt Badru, uses the platform to discuss trending topics spanning music, politics, and controversies, garnering an impressive following.
According to Kasuku, while the show was airing on Dembe FM, NBS Television management sought to undermine its growing popularity by recruiting him and Eddie Sendi, the program’s main hosts. “They wanted to bring it down because it was getting more numbers than their UNCUT show,” he revealed. Kasuku explained that these efforts ultimately failed after Sendi had a dispute with a senior NBS executive and declined to join the network.

This allegation sheds light on the tensions between traditional media houses and emerging digital content creators, with Kasuku suggesting that television platforms perceive YouTube personalities as threats to their audience share. “Different television platforms are apprehensive about the growth of YouTubers and will do everything to combat them,” he added.
The claim underscores the evolving media landscape in Uganda, where online platforms are becoming formidable competitors to established broadcasters.
