Musician Cinderella Sanyu, popularly known as Cindy, has publicly expressed how much she misses seeing Bobi Wine grace music stages in Uganda. Cindy, who has collaborated with Bobi Wine on the hit song “Dilema” alongside Jamaican artist Mr. G, highlighted the unique energy and impact Bobi brought to his performances.
Speaking in an interview, Cindy emphasized that Bobi Wine deserves to perform as an artist independent of his political identity. “He should be allowed on stage as Bobi Wine, not Kyagulanyi. I would really want to see him back,” she said. Cindy’s remarks come as Ugandan authorities have maintained a ban on Bobi Wine’s concerts for over six years, citing security concerns and accusations of his events inciting public unrest.
