Ugandan singer ARiA, professionally known as Mirembe Daniella, recently shared her struggles with finances as the biggest obstacle to advancing her music career. Speaking on NBS After5, ARiA revealed that while she has tremendous talent and passion, lack of adequate funding, especially for promotions, limits her ability to reach wider audiences and grow her fan base.
ARiA also shed light on the fierce competition among artists in Uganda’s music scene, which makes networking and finding the right connections critical for breakthrough success. Without strong industry support, new artists like ARiA must work twice as hard and rely on luck to get noticed. Despite the odds, ARiA remains hopeful, focusing on persistence and faith to reach her goals.
