His Royal Majesty the Omukama of Tooro Dr Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV on Saturday arrived in Cairo Egypt ahead of Uganda Cranes game against DR Congo.
According to Patrick Kanyomozi, a sports presenter at KFM radio station and other Nation Media Group outlets, Omukama wa Tooro brought the blessings for Uganda Cranes at Cairo International Stadium.
“…by the way am not short, it’s out of respect that I shortened myself,” joked Kanyomozi while posing with a taller Oyo for a picture in Cairo.
The King is also seen being welcomed by Youth and Children Affairs minister Hon Nakiwala Kiyingi on arrival in Egypt.
He is then seen watching intently as Cranes hammered Congo 2-0 in the second game of Group A.
Also present were Honourable Anita Among, Peter Ogwang, Arinaitwe Rwakajara, Hon Odonga Otto, Hon Godfrey Kiwanda, Hon Allan Ssewanyana and Hon Kasibante Moses witnessing Cranes historic win in Egypt.
