Ada Ehi is a Nigerian gospel artiste famously known for her spirit lifting worship songs. Her live Kampala concert 11TH/NOV/2022 was jaw dropping success to all the gospel music fans and secular music fans. It was on this same night that a Jamaican Superstar Bennie Man and a famous comedy group, Bizonto had a concert in the same locality of Ada’s venue, Lugogo hockey grounds, which was filled by 8:30pm.
This was a success for the gospel industy to host a foreign musician, at an entrance fee of 30,000ugshs at an ordinary ticket in venue of that capacity and sell out. Ada had a concert the following day, at Kakyeka stadium, Mbarara district and the turn up was also massive
After Ada live in kampala concert, three artistes in the gospel Music fraternity of Uganda, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Levixone and Sseku Martin are each having a concert in the same week but on different days.
25TH/NOV/2022, Friday is the famous Worship Night organized by a Pastor Wilson Bugembe one of the leading gospel artists in Uganda for more than a decade. The worship night is an annual event which features national and international gospel artistes with an aim of Christians basking in the presence and glory of their God through worship and prayer.
His music has been welcomed not only in the gospel fraternity but also in the secular music. He’s been featured on several concerts of secular music artists.

26TH/NOV/2022, Saturday is the “ Mbeera The Genesis concert” at Kololo Airstrip by, Levixone Uganda’s leading gospel music export. On Saturday 24TH of 2018, he held his Turn the Replay concert at lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala. His Turn the replay song had been a hit and it had crossed the borders of Uganda. The concert sold out and the artiste managed to outshine his colleagues.
Kololo Airstrip is a vast venue, and it’s been used for national ceremonies and prayer nights. However, a few days back, Eddy Kenzo, arguably Uganda’s number one musician wrote history by becoming the first ever artiste to hold a totally sold out music concert that saw doors close early at th venue..
This Saturday, Levixone, is going for the same venue and the question is “Does Levixone have enough fan base to fill Kololo Airstrip? Will born again Christians and Christians at large support their own as the world does its own? “

27TH/NOV/2022, Sunday is the “25 Years Of Sseku Martin” concert at Kampala Serena Hotel. Sseku Martin is one of the pioneers of the Urban gospel music in Uganda. In the early 2000s, he released a hit song “Koona Endongo ya Yesu” which spiced up the gospel music with contemporary dances. He added on other songs like Ssiritya, Bbulo Zinyoka, and many others. I have lately been in an audience to which Sseku was ministering and he’s still an energetic dancer.
Although, new gospel artistes have had an impact on the gospel music fraternity in Uganda, Sseku Martin’s building block has never been forgotten and it’s a vivid milestone.
“God always has a reason to preserve us, God will always see the heart not the deeds, I bless the lord for these 25yeas, I will be singing 20 songs with the Band off my 12 albums, can’t wait to deliver best ever performance in my life, ……………” Sseku posted on his Facebook page. All that being said;
What will it imply if all these concerts sell or don’t sellout?
