Ugandan singer Dax Vibez recently opened up about the hardships he faced when he first stepped onto the music scene. Reflecting on his debut performances, Dax narrated the challenges—including being insulted and chased off stage by revellers who initially found his performances unentertaining.

Dax attributes these difficulties to learning his craft live on stage, acknowledging that his voice sometimes faltered during those early shows. “My first time on stage, I was chased and asked to leave. The problem I faced was that I learned everything on stage. I flatted and lost my voice on stage,” he admitted.
Despite such setbacks, Dax Vibez and collaborator Zex Bilangilangi persisted even when audiences pelted them with bottles and objects. Their determination paved the way for their eventual rise to stardom. For Dax, the turning point came when performing the hit “Believe” at Karole Kasita’s concert, marking his first major crowd win.
