Jamaican dancehall superstar Spice, born Grace Latoya Hamilton, is set to make her Ugandan debut on December 6, 2025, with a highly anticipated concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, one of Kampala’s premier music venues. The event is part of her much-awaited Queen of Dancehall Tour, which has already seen her perform across Europe and the UK at major festivals like London’s City Splash and Spain’s Rototom Sunsplash.

Spice, known for hits such as “Go Down Deh” with Sean Paul and Shaggy, “So Mi Like It,” and “Ramping Shop” with Vybz Kartel, enjoys a massive fan base in Uganda, a country with a vibrant dancehall culture. Organizers have confirmed the concert date, with ticketing details expected soon, promising one of the biggest musical spectacles in Uganda for the year.
Beyond performing, Spice plans to engage with Uganda’s cultural heritage, including visits to tourist sites like Mengo Palace and the Kasubi Tombs, underscoring her interest in connecting with the country beyond music.
