Joseph Kabuleta Launches Christmas Cup in Bunyoro, Calls for Unity.

During the launch, Kabuleta expressed gratitude to attendees for their support and urged the Banyoro community to rally together in their pursuit of rights and development. “This tournament has been here for years, and it will continue to grow. We aim to bring together communities across Uganda through football,” he stated, highlighting the event’s role in fostering community cohesion.

The Christmas Cup features 16 teams from various sub-counties in Hoima, all equipped with new kits that showcase the region’s budding football talent. Kabuleta’s initiative is designed to be non-partisan and community-driven, promoting local sports while strengthening social bonds among residents.

Prominent figures present at the launch included Mr. Gabriel Dema, Chairman of the District Football Association (DFA), Capt. Jeff, Spokesperson, and Ali Babi, Director of Programme. They praised Kabuleta for his dedication to uplifting the Bunyoro community and encouraged residents to support his efforts.

The tournament is not only a highlight of Bunyoro’s festive calendar but also aims to inspire broader unity across Uganda through the love of football. With plans for nationwide expansion, Kabuleta hopes that this initiative will continue to foster connections among diverse communities.
