Fast-rising dancehall artist Kapeke has made bold claims about reviving Sheebah Karungi’s career, suggesting that the singer’s musical momentum declined during her pregnancy.
Speaking in a recent interview on a local television station, Kapeke, who has dominated Ugandan music charts for nearly a year, expressed his desire to work with Sheebah and restore her influence in the industry.

"I want to collaborate with Sheebah Karungi, and I am ready to revive her career because it's me who is dominating the music industry right now," he stated confidently.
Kapeke further mentioned that he is also open to collaborating with other trending artists such as Ava Peace, Dax Vibes, and Vyroota, acknowledging their current popularity and success in the industry.
"I also want to collaborate with Ava Peace, Dax Vibes, and Vyroota. These artists are currently on top, and their songs are trending on airwaves," he added.
While Kapeke’s remarks have stirred discussion among Sheebaholics (Sheebah’s fans), the “Nakyuka” hitmaker has yet to respond publicly to his statements.
Many music lovers and industry insiders have questioned Kapeke’s assertion, noting that Sheebah remains one of Uganda’s most influential female artists, with her music still dominating airwaves and major playlists.
It remains to be seen whether Sheebah will accept Kapeke’s offer or if the collaboration will materialize.
