Kampala, Uganda – The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, has called upon musicians to steer clear of violence and instead promote peace and unity. His appeal follows recent altercations between artists Pallaso and Alien Skin, whose factions were involved in a brawl during a concert in Buloba.

Mayiga emphasized the importance of discipline and reconciliation in resolving conflicts, warning of serious consequences if violent behavior continues. He noted that such actions instill fear among concert attendees and undermine the strength of artists, which lies in their talent rather than involvement in gangs.
The incident has sparked demands to eliminate gangs from the music industry and apprehend those responsible. Mayiga questioned why artists resort to violence, suggesting that they should address their differences peacefully.
