Murushid Jjuuko Makes Triumphant Return to Competitive Football with Kitara FC.

Former Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Jjuuko has marked his return to top-flight football by signing a two-year contract with Kitara FC. After a sabbatical, Jjuuko comes back to reinvigorate the Royal’s defensive line for the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season.

Jjuuko last played for Vipers Sports Club during the 2023/24 season before becoming a free agent. With extensive experience that spans top Ugandan clubs including SC Victoria University, Express FC, and international stints at Simba SC (Tanzania) and Wydad Casablanca (Morocco), his addition is widely regarded as a major boost for Kitara.

Joining a club that has also secured multiple other key signings such as Isa Lumu, Amir Kakomo, and Rashid Toha, Jjuuko’s presence significantly strengthens the team’s ambitions for the upcoming season.
