Western Uganda-based singer Omega 256 has publicly expressed her strong desire to perform for the President of Uganda at her upcoming concert scheduled for September 19th at Lugogo Cricket Oval. Known professionally as “Queen of the West,” Omega 256 is making waves as an emerging star, with this event marking her maiden concert in Kampala.
While the President does not attend every music event in the capital, he has previously graced select concerts by top artists such as Bebe Cool and Catherine Kusasira. Omega 256 has revealed in interviews with local media that she is actively reaching out to influential contacts to secure the President’s attendance, describing it as a dream come true and a significant honor.
The event also features established musicians Ray G and TPaul 256, who have successfully staged concerts in Kampala before. Omega 256 is hopeful of a strong turnout, confident in her growing fan base’s support, and sees the President’s presence as a momentous endorsement for her musical journey and Western Uganda’s cultural representation at the national level.
