Lira, Uganda – The police in Lira City have arrested five additional individuals in connection with the assault of local musician Walter Ogwang, popularly known as Lil Square, and the damage to his vehicle. This brings the total number of suspects arrested in the case to seven.
The newly apprehended suspects include David Arok (38), Bonny Acai (25), Ronald Okumu (34), Ambrose Omara (27), and Elvis Okoo (24). They were arrested on Tuesday evening from various locations within Lira City.

Earlier, two other suspects—Isaac Jackson Awio and Erick Odyeny—were taken into custody on Sunday night. All seven suspects are currently being held at Lira Central Police Station pending further investigation and legal proceedings.
The accused face charges related to the physical assault of Lil Square and the damage to his vehicle, a white Toyota Max 2 Grand. The police are working to compile evidence and prepare the case for submission to the Resident City State Attorney for review before presenting the suspects in court.
