Alpha Kato Jingo Hussein, popularly known as Alfa Tymz, has disclosed that he did not receive his final payment from NBS Radio before moving to Galaxy FM. In an interview on Walvex TV, the newly recruited NBS TV presenter opened up about how, amid the excitement of joining Galaxy FM and relocating to Kampala, he overlooked the fact that his former employers at NBS Radio withheld his last wages despite completing his monthly duties.

“I was excited to join Galaxy FM. When I wrote my resignation letter to leave NBS Radio, I asked if I was going to be paid my last wages because I had completed the monthly duties, but my employers said I wasn’t to be paid. And I let it be since I was going to receive a bigger pay at Galaxy,” Alfa Tymz explained.
He further noted that he was among the highest-paid presenters at NBS Radio, but Galaxy FM’s offer was even more lucrative, which made him overlook the unpaid dues. Alfa Tymz left Galaxy FM in May 2025 for NBS TV, where he now hosts the NBS KURT show.
