Rising Ugandan artist Liam Voice has revealed his strong desire to collaborate with music legend Bobi Wine, citing the potential for significant musical growth and increased visibility. However, the singer also expressed apprehension about the possible political implications, joking about being “taken into the basement” by security operatives.

Speaking in a recent interview, Liam Voice emphasized the respect he holds for Bobi Wine, recognizing him as a pioneer and icon in the Ugandan music industry. “It would be something good; the collaboration would actually keep me away from you all in different ways,” Liam said, acknowledging the potential success such a partnership could bring.
He humorously added, “But also doing a collaboration with Bobi Wine means I’ll have to go into the basement and learn Runyankole,” referencing the potential need to adapt to Bobi Wine’s cultural and political affiliations.
Despite these concerns, Liam Voice remains optimistic about the possibility of working with Bobi Wine, believing that a collaboration between them would be mutually beneficial and create a lasting impact on the Ugandan music scene.
