Local musician and politician Ibrahim Mayanja, popularly known as Big Eye, has officially withdrawn from contesting for the Nansana Municipality parliamentary seat. The singer lost the National Unity Platform (NUP) party nomination to media personality Zambali Bulasio Mukasa.

In a heartfelt statement, Big Eye expressed his commitment to the party’s unity and endorsed Zambali Bulasio’s candidacy, emphasizing that his dedication lies with Uganda’s progress rather than personal political ambitions. He appealed for unity among party supporters and extended gratitude to his fans for their ongoing encouragement. Big Eye reiterated his belief in the collective mission of liberating Uganda and delivering “A NEW UGANDA” under the leadership of President Bobi Wine.
