Ugandan rapper Kalifah AgaNaga has publicly urged musician Alien Skin to take responsibility for the violent acts that led to the death of Wilfred Namuwaya, popularly known as Top Dancer. Top Dancer was allegedly abducted and severely assaulted by members of Alien Skin’s camp, reportedly under his orders, before succumbing to his injuries at Mulago Hospital.
Kalifah challenged Alien Skin’s recent claims of jealousy and dismissed suggestions that the issue is rooted in rivalry. Instead, he emphasized the urgent need to end the ongoing violence plaguing Uganda’s music industry. “We want Alien Skin to talk to his gang and fans, make them understand the gravity of their mistakes, apologize publicly, then we can move on,” Kalifah said, appealing for peace and coexistence among artists and supporters.
